When a homeless man requests to sing alongside a street performer, the audience is transfixed.

These days, there are street performers everywhere. It is not unusual to see one of them around town. But it’s possible that this kind of performer is less typical. UK street performer Johnny Walker made the decision to venture to Leeds one chilly evening.

He usually performs alone, but this time he decided to invite a visitor. Johnny didn’t give the addition of a homeless tramp to the show a second thought. And, thankfully, he did. He made a valuable addition to the performance.

The homeless man, Bernard, has a fascinating past. He is well-liked and well-known throughout the city.

He is a former Harry’s Game cast member who is the father of two kids. He used to be active in the Irish Folk scene.

The performance simply doesn’t do justice to the sound of his voice in what we’ve written about it here.

You must listen to it for yourself.
You won’t regret taking the time to pay attention, either. It demonstrates that there are talented people everywhere and that you shouldn’t always judge a book by its cover.
