“Very kind and sweet!” Brad Pitt let 105-year-old neighbor live in his house for free

Hollywood macho was capable of grand gestures. In 1994, Brad bought a house in Los Feliz, California, he wanted to buy several lots in the neighborhood to expand his estate. His home in a gated community in the Hollywood Hills sold him actress Cassandra Peterson (Cassandra Peterson), known for the image of Elvira – mistress of the dark in numerous films and TV shows.

Today, the 71-year-old star spoke about Pitt’s generosity. It turned out that one of the houses belonged to a man who at that time was about 90 years old. Pitt made friends with an elderly neighbor who was painfully worried about the death of his beloved wife. He invited him to live in the house until his death, without paying rent.

“He was very, very kind to this man. After the death of his wife, John stayed in the usual house, which already belonged to Brad. I know that Brad let him live there without paying anything until he died. It was funny because John lived to be 105 years old. I imagine Brad was thinking, you know, he was expecting this to happen any minute,” Cassandra recalled.
The actress was Pitt’s next-door neighbor for several years before agreeing to give him the land for a good price. She admitted that the actor was the perfect neighbor not only for John’s grandfather but also for her. “He was always kind and sweet to me throughout the years of our life together,” assured the artist.

Peterson recalled how the actor was preparing for the filming of the movie “Fight Club” in this estate, he made her excited when he trained with a punching bag in the yard. “I almost fainted when I saw him shirtless. I remember him asking, “Hi, how are you?” and I’m like, “huh?” I’m speechless. I blushed and felt like I was losing consciousness. He is simply stunningly handsome, and to top it all off, cute, ” People quote Kassandra.

Brad lived in the house with his wife Angelina Jolie and their six children until their divorce in 2016, after which he lived alone for several years. In March, Pitt sold the estate for $39 million. It was a good deal for him, as the property initially cost him $1.7 million.
Pitt’s buddies said he decided to sell the house he’s owned for almost 30 years because he wanted to move from Los Angeles to the small beach town of Carmel in Northern California. The actor has already bought a $40 million home there.
